Qatar Weather Forecast: Cloudy Skies with Hazy Patches Expected Overnight

Doha: The Department of Meteorology’s daily weather report says that inshore conditions tonight will persist until 6:00 am on Friday, featuring some clouds with hazy to misty patches developing late at night.

Inshore Outlook

The report predicts some clouds over the coastal waters, accompanied by hazy to misty visibility in places after dark.

Offshore Outlook

Further out, the forecast calls for only some clouds over the offshore area.

Wind and Sea State

Inshore winds are expected to be mainly northeasterly at 03 to 10 knot, easing to variable winds below 03 knot later tonight. Offshore, winds will be northwesterly ranging from 05 to 15 knot. Sea conditions inshore will stay between 1 and 2 feet, while offshore seas are forecast to be 2 to 4 feet.

Visibility

Visibility inshore will be 04 to 09/03 kilometers or less at places by late night; offshore visibility is projected to be 05 to 09 kilometers.
