Khaled Salah Al‑Sayer, director of the Saudi Super Cup’s Kuwait edition, said the hosting bid had received strong backing from Kuwait’s leadership, reflecting the value placed on youth, sport and the enduring Kuwait‑Saudi relationship. He thanked the Saudi Football Federation for its trust in the arrangements, the Saudi Media Group for its cooperation, and Kuwaiti government bodies and the Kuwait Football Association for logistical support. Al‑Sayer also praised the teams that prepared the bid, called the draw the formal start of the competition and welcomed the clubs, hoping fans would enjoy a memorable showcase of football from both nations. The draw was overseen by Naeem Al‑Bakr, head of the Saudi Football Federation’s competitions committee, with Marwi and Bashar Abdullah taking part in the proceedings. The hosting rights stem from an official partnership involving Al‑Rai Media Group, Aayan Leasing and Investment Company and the Saudi Football Federation, represented by its exclusive commercial partner SMC Vibes–Saudi Media Group, while Zain serves as the hosting partner. Organisers said the four‑day competition will attract Saudi supporters and regional audiences, and that ticketing information will be released shortly, as reported by local media.
