Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh Visits Beirut

Arrival in Beirut

In Lebanon, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh arrived in Beirut on Wednesday, accompanied by a diplomatic delegation. Beirut is Lebanon’s capital and hosts the country’s main international airport.

Reception by Lebanese Officials

They were met at Rafik Hariri International Airport by a delegation from the Amal Movement led by senior official Khalil Hamdan, who spoke on behalf of Speaker Nabih Berri, and by MP Ali al-Meqdad, representing the leadership of Hezbollah.

Exchange of Greetings

Hamdan conveyed greetings from Berri and the Amal Movement leadership to the Iranian official, welcoming him to Lebanon, according to the National News Agency.
