Qatar Minister Opens Seventh Build Your House Exhibition, Attracting Over 250 Exhibitors

Qatar’s Minister of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Faisal bin Thani bin Faisal Al-Thani, inaugurated the seventh edition of the Build Your House 2026 exhibition on Monday at the Qatar National Convention Center. The event, which runs from 26 to 28 October, features more than 250 exhibitors representing over 10 countries. The exhibition is held under the patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al-Thani.

Minister Tours Exhibition, Reviews Latest Solutions

Following the opening ceremony, Sheikh Faisal toured the exhibition halls, where he inspected the newest products and services from local and international companies in construction, building, interior design, and smart and sustainable residential development solutions. In his remarks, the minister said Build Your House offers a specialised platform for citizens to explore cutting-edge construction and design technologies and learn about available options at various stages of building their homes. He also highlighted the exhibition’s role in providing opportunities for local small and medium-sized enterprises to showcase their offerings and present innovations that contribute to the development of smart and sustainable homes.

Ministry of Commerce Pavilion Supports Local Industry

The Ministry of Commerce and Industry is participating as a supporting partner, reflecting its efforts to develop the private sector, enhance the competitiveness of national industry, and encourage the adoption of modern, sustainable construction technologies. These efforts support economic diversification and align with the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030. The ministry’s pavilion displays products from national factories operating in the construction sector, aiming to emphasise the quality and diversity of locally manufactured goods, promote their use, and strengthen ties among manufacturers, contractors, and consumers. The initiative also seeks to expand the presence of national products in the domestic market.

Additionally, the pavilion introduces visitors to key digital services and initiatives from the ministry, including the Single Window platform, AI-powered assistants known as Smart Assistant and Saif, and the Business Map. These services are designed to simplify procedures, streamline services, and provide information to support investors and entrepreneurs.

Exhibition Connects Citizens with Industry Leaders

The exhibition brings together leading construction companies, engineering consultancies, and suppliers of building materials and home furnishings. It provides a venue for direct engagement between companies and citizens, allowing visitors to explore options at every stage of the building process, from planning and design to construction and furnishing.
