Iraq postpones International Transport and Logistics Expo to late November 2026

Iraq’s Ministry of Transport announced on Wednesday, October 14, 2026, the postponement of the Iraq International Transport, Logistics, and Airports Exhibition and Conference (ITL Iraq Expo), according to an official statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA).

Announcement and new schedule

The expo has been rescheduled to run from November 25 to 27, 2026, placing it directly alongside observances for World Sustainable Transport Day.

Participants and scope

The high‑profile trade exhibition is organised to host broad representation from state transit authorities and public enterprises, working in close coordination with domestic and international private firms involved in overland trucking, maritime shipping, civil aviation, freight handling and integrated logistics solutions.

It will bring together senior government officials, commercial stakeholders, investors and technical delegates from specialised supply‑chain sectors to examine Iraq’s expanding transit corridor infrastructure.

Agenda and objectives

The programme features a dedicated strategic conference on sustainable transport paradigms, complemented by technical symposiums that draw regional and global logistics experts.

Ministerial leadership said the platform aims to facilitate technical knowledge transfer, cultivate public-private investment partnerships and outline modern modernization strategies for Iraq’s national transit grid, thereby expanding its contribution to sustainable domestic economic growth.
