EVOLEN to Lead French Companies at Libyan-European Energy Forum in Madrid

Libya’s Tripoli-based General Union of Chambers of Commerce announced on Tuesday that France’s energy industry association EVOLEN will head a delegation of more than 25 French companies to the Libyan-European Forum for Oil, Energy and Gas.

Forum Details and Organiser

The event is scheduled to take place in Madrid from 2 to 3 December 2026, under the supervision and organisation of the General Union of Chambers.

EVOLEN represents companies and professionals active across the energy sector, including oil, gas, and new and renewable energies.

Cooperation Objectives

The General Union stated that this participation is part of efforts to strengthen Libyan-French and European cooperation in the oil, gas and energy fields. It focuses on technical support services for these sectors, exploring partnership and investment opportunities, and exchanging technical expertise between the participating companies.

The union added that the participation is expected to serve as an opportunity to enhance communication between Libyan institutions and companies and their French counterparts, opening new horizons for cooperation in project implementation and the development of technical services that support the sector.

French Interest in Libyan Market

The confirmation of EVOLEN’s participation, the union noted, reflects the interest of French companies in expanding areas of cooperation with the Libyan market. This aims to support the development of the oil, gas and energy sector and enhance opportunities for economic and investment partnerships between the two sides.
